• Pier 39 in San Francisco. 

• Gold gate park

• Bay bridge

• Union Square

• Boardwalk

Reach fisherman’s wharf early (before 6 pm), parking in long term parking structure or open lots ($20-30), going to embarcadero or better to Ghirardeli square waterfront, have dinner, watch fireworks (people start reserving spaces w/ blankets and mats from 5 pm, you also better have warm/layered clothing, it’ll get cold/breezy after 7-8 pm), come very late (2 am) back home.

BART, cab/cabel-car – moving around in public transport won’t be that convenient (toooo much crowd, traffic, time consuming, queues and dependency).
